Thanks to all of you who helped me celebrate my birthday and tenure. I was completely surprised and so touched by the Strider gift. Thank you thank you thank you.
First, don't forget National Trails Day is June 6.
I will be at a conference in Greece on June 13th, so if anyone would like to coordinate a Strider hike that day, please feel free to use the email list.
The dates for the trolleys to view the synchronous fireflies have been posted (June 6-14). Unfortunately those are the exact dates that I'll be in Greece. If you've never seen the fireflies, you need to go. It's stunning and well worth the late night it entails.
Finally, we're looking at July 10-12 for a backpacking trip if anyone is interested, let me know!
