Five babes and a brute enjoyed a lovely weekend in the Grayson Highlands. It was colder than expected, with wet and foggy mornings but beautiful weather for Saturday's dayhike. We are now members of a new club - the Candy Ass Hiking Club as we spent 9 hours lollygagging and enjoying 12 miles of trail in the Highlands. We saw ponies, cows, deer, mice, and dogs throughout the course of the weekend. Striders Gina and Susan met up with us on Saturday. Three Babes received their A.T. names - Camel, Jukebox and Mudflaps.
